i dipped into this plan back in 2013 and took some elements from it. It has some good structured sections but I personally still kept in one long slow run in my build up.
CrossFit Endurance, is a sport-specific program, as Brian MacKenzie has developed it, preparing a runner for a race by combining specific running workouts, strength workouts, and CrossFit metabolic conditioning workouts, dietary manipulation and simplifying endurance and recovery processes. As MacKenzie asserts, the use of CrossFit workouts—with their myriad health and athletic benefits—allows a runner to obtain equal if not greater performance results while simultaneously decreasing the chance of injury.
